In an interview with Atlanta’s 92Q T.I. addressed an apparent diss by another ATL rapper Shawty Lo on his song “Dunn, Dunn”. Shawty Lo said “Bankhead needs to acknowledge me” apparently speaking to T.I. In a previous interview regarding his home Bankhead, Shawty Lo had this to say “The real Bankhead story is fittin’ to come out. I’m not calling no names. Ya’ll been hearing a lot about it, but the real story is about to be told. They can bring the cameras and see for themselves who’s from Bankhead,” says the rapper. “I grew up real hard there. Bankhead‘s the hardest place you can stay at in Atlanta. My grandma raised me. My momma was on drugs when I was younger. My grandma died in 93’. I use to be in the drug game real heavy. I wanted to change the negative into a positive. Music was something I hadn’t tried.” Check out the interview with T.I. and his response to the upstart Shawty Lo who is also a member of D4L of “Laffy Taffy” fame.
