As we’ve reported the Hip Hop community is outraged at the verdict recently delivered acquitting three New York police officers for their actions in shotting and killing unarmed African-American Sean Bell with a hail of 50 bullets. In response to the verdict Compton rapper The Game will release a new single entitled “911 Is A Joke” reminiscent of Public Enemy’s classic single of the same name. “I’m outraged and speaking out for my generation that are afraid to speak out against police brutality and murder,” The Game told AllHipHop. “I grew up in Compton and had to stay silent because of the fear that was prevalent in my community, but now that I have a voice I’m speaking out.”

Game will release the song via his new website ThisizGame.com. The former G-unit rapper is currently finishing up his new album LAX (Los Angeles Times), which is set to hit stores on July 8.
