In a new viral video Canadian rapper and a native of Somalia, K’NAAN, gives the other side of the Somali piracy epidemic. K’NAAN often raps about his war torn homeland in his songs and has many songs dedicated to spreading the word about what is going on in countries like Somalia.

I think one issue K’Naan may have forgetton to mention is that most of the Somali Pirates are fishermen who claim that Fishermen from other countries with bigger ships and nets came to the Somali Shores to fish, and that is what ticked them (the pirates) off.
