Today, Friday May 2, 2008, Madonna will appear on BET’s 106 and Park. The Material Girl will share the couch with Terrence J and Rocsi to promote her new album “Hard Candy”. “Hard Candy” will be Madonna’s last studio album under contract with Warner Bros. Her most Hip Hop album to date it features vocal appearances by Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West along with production credits from Timbaland, Timberlake, The Neptunes, and Nate “Danja” Hills as well as co-production from Madonna.

This is the first time the pop singer will ever appear on BET to promote her album. Since BET’s core audience is enthused with her carefully planned album contributors it makes perfect sense for her to talk to the audience of 106 and Park. The 50 year old Madonna has recently managed to keep relevant to the pop audience by making a career of working the hottest artist and producers of the moment.
