Back from the 50 Cent and G-Unit African tour - where as reported earlier 50 Cent had his chain snatched while on stage - 50 Cent hit 106 and Park with his G-Unit crew minus the departed Young Buck. 50 Cent touched on a number of subjects but what’s on everyones mind is what he had to say about the south when asked why he thinks the South has remained so dominate in Hip Hop and why they seem to have more unity than New York rappers.

50 Cent responded with this, “New York City is the mecca,” he said. “It’s the essence of where it comes from. The competitive nature of the art form it makes us compete more. There kinda in a survival circle ‘like if we all hold on we might could stay close enough to the bay’. If you add them all up they’d be like one me. All of them.“
